Priyamvada Ramkumar

Priyamvada has played a key role in shaping Lok’s financial inclusion strategy over the last decade. She led and managed investments in Lok’s second and third funds, across financial services and healthcare. She serves on the board of Veritas Finance and Mintifi Finance, and has participated as a board observer in several other investments. She is also a member of the investment committee of Lok’s fourth fund.

Prior to Lok, she worked with Veda Corporate Advisors, a boutique investment bank, advising mid-market companies on their fund raising and M&A strategies. She also had a brief stint in corporate banking where she built and managed an SME lending portfolio at ABN Amro Bank.

Priyamvada has a Post Graduate Degree in Business Management from XLRI – Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Stella Maris College, where she was a gold medallist.

Outside of work, Priyamvada is a literary enthusiast and an award-winning translator. Her debut work of translation, Stories of the True, was published in August 2022.
