At Lok, Hari looks at tech-enabled models in Finance and Agriculture. He is an ed-tech entrepreneur (exited) turned investor.

Prior to joining Lok, he founded Schoolmate, an ed-tech company in Hyderabad and successfully exited to a listed player in Chennai. Post the exit, Hari joined Astarc Ventures where he managed tech investments. Hari evaluated more than 1,000 tech deals in a span of 7 years (all proprietarily sourced) and made 25 investments in early-stage technology companies in India across sectors (including companies such as Liv.ai - acquired by Flipkart, Pixis.ai - funded by Softbank, Ion Energy - exited to BSE listed Endurance, Rapido, Pharmeasy - a Unicorn, PerniaPopUpShop, Jai Kisan, Home Capital,  among others).

Hari (thinks he) can sing (friends and family have strict orders to him to restrict it within the bathroom walls). His other interests include teaching math and science to kids (which is an excuse to catchup what he missed to learn when at school).

Hari holds a Masters in Management from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.

Hari's portfolio includes Aquaconnect and Akshayakalpa.
